Get to Know Julia
Julia Zhang is Chief Technology Officer at Icario and is responsible for leading Icario’s technology, product development, and data and analytics functions. With her impressive track record in the digital health and technology industries, Julia’s expertise helps keep Icario at the forefront of healthcare and member experience innovation.
Before joining Icario, Julia served as Vice President of Engineering at Teladoc, where she led the vision and implementation of the company’s Clinical Platform, technology that enables care practitioners to provide millions of virtual health visits. Julia’s background also includes serving as CTO at Humana Digital Health and Analytics organization, where she oversaw the transformation of the organization’s cloud infrastructure and data platform, as well as leadership roles at other leading healthcare platform solution providers.
Julia received her BE in Structural Engineering from Zhejiang University. She holds a Master of Engineering from Louisiana State University and has completed additional graduate programs at MIT for Data and Machine Learning and Stanford University for Executive Leadership. Julia enjoys outdoor activities, yoga, and meditation. She also mentors the next generations of women in technology, in addition to her strong influence on her two daughters pursuing their studies in Artificial Intelligence and Bio-engineering.
